Enter a delicious, nutritious, easy to prepare sweet snack that almost everyone will love! Ice cream sandwiches made from bananas, your choice of fruit and graham crackers. That’s it!
Banana Ice Cream Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas
- 8 oz frozen fruit – this will be the flavor of your ice cream
- 4 graham crackers halved
Instructions
- Combine banana and frozen fruit in a food processor. Blend until the mixture has reached an ice cream consistency. This will take several minutes and you will need to periodically stir the mixture to incorporate all the fruit for processing smoothly.
- Using a melon baller, if possible, take two scoops of ice cream and place on half of a graham cracker. Place the other half on top to create a sandwich. Place sandwiches on parchment paper and allow to set in the freezer 10-15 minutes to firm.
