Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place Rice Krispies in a gallon sized storage bag. Roll over bag with a rolling pin until cereal is a course texture.
Melt butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour crushed Rice Krispies into a shallow dish or pie pan.
Pour butter into a separate shallow dish or pie pan.
Dredge chicken through the butter mixture, coating thoroughly.
Next, dredge buttered chicken through the Rice Krispie mixture and coat evenly and thoroughly.
Spray a 2.5 quart or 8×8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken tenders in the dish. Pour remaining Rice Krispie mixture and butter over the top of the tenders.
Cover and bake for 20 minutes at 400°F. Then remove lid and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
