Continuing our passion for traveling and racing (we like to call them race-cations), we loaded up and headed east to August, Georgia for Ironman 70.3 Augusta.
We wanted to experience one of the most popular Half Ironman triathlons in the world – not to mention the very famous downstream swim. Complete with two crushed PRs on the swim, we endured a challenging, hilly bike course and a spectator friendly run course, all complete with the impeccable hospitality of the local community.
We both encountered various challenges on the day and just minutes after we crossed the finish line, we discuss how it played out, raw and unfiltered.
