Ironman 70.3 Boulder 2022 may have been the toughest version of the race’s 20-year history. The intense sun and heat made for a grueling afternoon on the front range and around the Boulder Reservoir.
Regardless of the elements, we still enjoyed the race experience – and one of us had over an hour personal course record and just missed an overall PR. This race reminded both of us just how rewarding the sport of triathlon can be.
