Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Break butter into small pieces or use a pastry cutter to add butter to the dry mix.
In a separate, small bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
Add wet ingredients into dry mixture and work dough into a ball.
Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead in blueberries.
Work the dough into a circle about 3/4-inch thick.
Cut dough into 8 wedges and place on a greased baking sheet. Brush the top of the scones with a small amount of melted butter.
Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
Best enjoyed warm with a side of creamy cold brew coffee!
